To show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, STAMPIN'UP! is going PINK . . . or at least our October boxes are! And because we know our subscribers want to share the love too, we will be making a donation on their behalf to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Stampin' Up! will donate

  • $1 for every active Paper Pumpkin subscriber.
  • Plus, an additional $1 for every new subscriber.

Together, we will make a difference!

Here's how you can help:

  1. Subscribe! If you're new to Paper Pumpkin, Click on the Paper Pumpkin icon on the right to get started. Your first kit will arrive in a limited-edition pink box that you'll want to hold onto forever-and we'll donate $2 because you're new!
  2. Stay active if you're a subscriber so we can donate $1 for you. Only those who receive the October shipment will be counted for the donation.
  3. Spread the word! Help us get as many new subscribers as possible. Every current subscriber adds $1 and for new subscribers it's doubled, so let's get the word out and raise as much as possible.

Remember, those who get the October kit will not only be donating to a good cause, but they will also get a one-time only, pretty pink Paper Pumpkin box! No one will want to miss it. Promise.

More About BCRF

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) advances the world's most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has raised more than $550 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in the world. This year BCRF has invested $58.6 million in research, to support over 235 researchers at leading medical institutions across six continents, including $11.6 million to the international Evelyn H. Lauder Founder's Fund focused on metastasis. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofits. BCRF is the only breast cancer organization with an "A+" from CharityWatch, and has been awarded Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars 13 times since 2002. For more information, please visit: www.bcrfcure.org.

Additional Details:

  • New subscribers are those who signed up between September 11 and October 10, 2015 and have not been a Paper Pumpkin subscriber at any time in the past.
  • All funds will be donated in US dollars.
  • Mini spoiler alert! The October project inside the pink box is just as awesome as always, but we should probably let you know that it is not a pink project. That's all we're saying. ?
  • Funds will be donated based on number of subscribers instead of boxes shipped. But, if you want more than one pink box, you can always increase your subscription quantity by logging into your account at PaperPumpkin.com before October 10.

Just a quick post today. I entered this card in the SUO Challenge #131 – Get Well Soon

09.20.15-SUO 131

The Cajun Craze card base is a standard 11 x 4¼, scored & folded at 5½. The accent layer is Bohemian DSP 4 x 5¼. The sentiment is from Perfect Pennants stamped on Very Vanilla in Delightful Dijon and cut out using the Lots of Labels Framelits; I also used the same label to cut the Delightful Dijon backing.

I used the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch on all of the corners of the 3, 1½ x 1½, Delightful Dijon accent pieces.  The flowers are punched out of leftover cardstock from the August Paper Pumpkin kit with the Petite Petals punch. I added Cajun Craze candy dots to the flower centers.

I rather like it. What do you think?

You can get any of these products and more from my online store - just click on a picture or the icon in the upper right-hand corner of my blog and shop 24/7. Be sure to use this month's Hostess Code 3NXWE47K on any order of $30 or more (before taxes, S&H) for a chance to win a free stamp set on October 2nd.

Thank you for stopping by and picking me as your demonstrator. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog before you leave and you will be notified of every post.
Until next time ...

WOOHOO!! Fall is finally arrived (officially Wednesday 9/23/15) - my favorite season of the year! Last weekend we finally got to go camping. We spent a great couple of days at Tippecanoe River State Park. We have never camped there, it's a beautiful park. We enjoyed crisp mornings, warm days, and cool nights around the campfire.

But this weekend it's back to the Craft Room for more card challenges and to start to prepare for October's stamp classes and workshops.

I have 3 cards to share with you today. The 1st is for MOJO415.

   09.20.15-Mojo 415 (2)

This is just under the wire as the challenge closes at 6pm.  I used the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set, Boo to You Framelits, and the Note Tag punch. A little masking and a little brayering completed the overall effect of a Halloween card.

The next 2nd card is for the SGGW challenge.

09.20.15-SGGW

The medallions are 1½ x 1½ pieces of Delightful Dijon punched on all four corners with the new Curvy Corner Trio punch, also in the Holiday Catalog. The flowers were punched out of leftover cardstock from the August Paper Pumpkin kit.

You can find other posts from this amazing group of artists at  https://www.facebook.com/groups/sggwc/?ref=bookmarks

The 3rd card is for the Paper Players challenge PP263

 09.20.15-PP263

I used the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder again. This time with Very Vanilla and I brayered the trees in soft suede. The leaves were cut with the decorative die from the Square Pillow Box Thinlits

Here's a list of all the products used:

That's it for today, have a great week!!
Until next time...

It's the end of the holiday weekend and I hope yours went well. It's been a hot one here in Indiana, temps have been in the 90's for the past 6 days.  Good day to stay inside and prepare for an upcoming card class and workshop and enter the Mojo Monday card challenge.

I'm over summer and getting ready for my favorite season,Fall. I love when the colors change to the rich reds, yellows, and oranges as the air becomes crisp and light jackets and sweaters are needed. It was the thought of Fall that influenced my entry this week.

#414-Lighthearted Leaves

I stamped the large oak leave from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set in VersaMark on watercolor paper and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I then water colored it with inks from the Regals Collection, Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Perfect Plum. I cut it out using the Leaflets Framelits but I didn't like the white edge the framelits left so I added Crushed Curry to the edge as well. The card base and accent piece was Cajun Craze with gold foil and Delightful Dijon Dotted Lace Trim (don't you just love that ribbon?) as embellishments.  What do you think? I like the way it turned out. See all the fabulous creations from a group of very talented designers at http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/
